The stunning Tolmin Gorges are one of the most visited natural attractions in the Soča Valley and the southern entrance to Triglav National Park. Due to the popularity of the gorge, visitor numbers are limited and entrance is organized through specific time slots.
To avoid waiting times and possible sold-out entry slots during busy periods, travelers are strongly advised to buy tickets in advance online and reserve their preferred entry time.
The visit includes a beautiful circular trail through narrow canyons, turquoise rivers, bridges, tunnels, and spectacular viewpoints such as the Devil’s Bridge and the confluence of the Tolminka and Zadlaščica rivers. The walk usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Visitors should also note that the trail includes quite a lot of stairs and some steeper sections. However, all important information, safety instructions, and recommendations are provided at the entrance before starting the visit.
The gorge is usually open from March until October, depending on weather and conditions. The exact opening dates for the current season can be checked during the ticket booking process on the official booking page.
